Sprint and Beverly Hills Throw a Party at a Retail Store

By Kevin Kunkel

Last week the Sprint retail team in Los Angeles hosted a one-of-a-kind mixer in collaboration with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce (BHCC). What made this “Business After Dark” event unique? It was held at a Sprint retail store!

The evening featured a cocktail party-like atmosphere of mingling at the Sprint store on La Cienega Avenue. We entertained more than 50 guests from the BHCC, representatives from local financial institutions, personal trainers, advertising executives, and up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Our friends at Samsung “wowed” the audience with the new Copper Gold Samsung Galaxy S®5 – perfect for the jet-set in attendance.

Sprint became the official wireless and telecommunications provider for the BHCC about a year ago. Our strong network in Los Angeles, including the availability of both Sprint Spark and 4G LTE, combined with our unbeatable retail sales team, provided the perfect opportunity for a dynamic relationship (and fun mixer) that would bring together the top small and mid-size businesses in one of the world’s most iconic cities. Further, it gave us a platform to showcase our new capabilities to serve as consultants to businesses in our retail stores and provide great prices and business-specific solutions.

John Bendheim, president of BHCC, addressed the crowd and recognized the excellent team at our Sprint La Cienega store, particularly praising Sprint for our dedication to personalized customer service.

We are always looking for interesting ways to demonstrate the products and services that Sprint offers. Hosting this event in a store allowed attendees to sample and take advantage of discounts and special offers. Meanwhile, we introduced our on-site business consultation services, where a dedicated team provides personalized solutions to small business challenges. Finally, attendees had the chance to sample how Spotify and its stations sounded on the Onyx – our powerful wireless speaker from Harman-Kardon.

Thanks to the BHCC for an excellent collaboration and I hope to see all of you soon on Rodeo Drive!
