Customers can access all Salesforce through Orange Business Services’ cloud-ready network
Announced at the Salesforce1 World Tour Paris, Orange Business Services is bringing Salesforce to its cloud hub, Business VPN Galerie.
Launched in 2010, Business VPN Galerie is the world’s first hub linking Orange VPN customers to cloud services via trusted network gateways. Through Business VPN Galerie, customers access Orange and partners’ infrastructure and software as a service, while benefitting from the advantages of the Orange Business Services cloud-ready network. These include end-to-end management and support, reliability, performance and security. Customers can maintain their existing user access methods and corporate security policies for all Business VPN Galerie services.
“Business VPN Galerie was the world’s first cloud-ready network offer on the market. By connecting Business VPN Galerie with Salesforce, we are strongly enriching the ecosystem of applications available through Business VPN Galerie,” says Didier Duriez, senior vice president Global Solutions and Services, Orange Business Services.
This announcement combines the benefits of VPN networks with the value and flexibility of the cloud computing model pioneered by salesforce.com. “Companies are connecting with their customers in a whole new way to thrive in today’s connected world,” said Olivier Derrien, senior vice president, enterprise sales, salesforce.com. “Orange is accelerating this shift for its customers with the addition of Salesforce to the Business VPN Galerie.”
Currently Business VPN Galerie provides services to more than 700 multinational customers at over 15,000 sites.
