Global Colocation Solutions Provider CyrusOne Launches Virtual Tour of its Austin Data Center

Facility is second of multi-phase campus development in Austin

Dallas, TX (July 1, 2014) – Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) announced it has launched a virtual tour of its nearly 70,000-square-foot Austin Data Center II on its website.

“This multi-phase Austin campus has 300,000 square feet of potential space,” said Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer, CyrusOne. “The virtual tour showcases the features of this second Austin data center, which includes multiple levels of redundancy available within the same footprint and two 400-MW-capacity substations with dual underground, concrete-encased feeds from each.”

Located minutes from the Austin-Bergstrom International airport and the downtown business district, CyrusOne’s Austin Data Center II is designed with CyrusOne’s Massively Modular® concept. It is a carrier-neutral facility with dark-fiber connectivity option and up to 150 to 250 watts per square foot power-density levels. The entire campus at full build could provide up to 20 megawatts of power to the fully redundant infrastructure. The building provides seven levels of physical protection for exceptional security and, like other CyrusOne facilities, the Austin data center is operated by CyrusOne employees.
