AT&T telephone technicians, Tim Tague and Patrick Reagan, are being recognized by Fortune's Heroes of the 500 for their courageous act of bravery. When these technicians were working repairs in Columbus, Ind., a small plane dropped into a backyard and burst into flames. Tim Tague ran to the scene and called for help. Patrick Reagan dashed to the burning plane, breaking down a wooden fence in his path. He was able to sucessfully pull the pilot to safety.
"I'm glad we were there, and I would never hesitate to do something like that again," says Reagan.
