Healthcare, nonprofit and education customers gain direct access to Integra services through MiCTA Membership

Portland, Ore. – May 13, 2014 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, today announced its acceptance to MiCTA, a nationwide group purchasing organization that offers communications and network technology solutions to members in the healthcare, nonprofit and education sectors. Now, MiCTA customers throughout the U.S. will enjoy easy access to Integra’s service suite through MiCTA’s procurement model.

“MiCTA is an ideal fit for Integra and we’re pleased to become a part of its membership offering,” said Martha Tate, vice president, government and education services at Integra. “MiCTA’s focus on healthcare, education and non-profit organizations aligns perfectly with markets where Integra has a distinguished record of service and success. We look forward to supporting MiCTA members with reliable, secure and flexible network solutions.”

Integra was granted vendor approval in 11 MiCTA product and service categories that span the breadth of Integra’s Voice Communications, Data Networking and Internet, Managed and Cloud Services, and Colocation and Equipment Services, including Ethernet Services, IP/MPLS VPN, Hosted Voice Service, and Collaboration and Messaging Services.

“We are pleased to add Integra to our portfolio of service providers,” said Tim von Hoff, chief operating officer at MiCTA. “Integra’s offerings address specific needs from our public and private sector clients, and our procurement model will make it easy for future customers to sign up for Integra services including data networking and Internet, managed and cloud services, and voice communications.”

This agreement continues Integra’s momentum in the government and nonprofit sectors this year following contract awards from the State of California’s CALNET 3 initiative and the federal Government Services Administration.
