Ms. Sofie Carsten Nielsen, Danish Minister of Education and Science, announced a new cooperation between Huawei and two leading Danish universities, The Technical University of Denmark and The University of Aalborg, to jointly launch the “Telecom Seeds for the Future” program.
[Shenzhen, China, April 29, 2014]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced a five-year cooperation with the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Aalborg in Denmark. The announcement was made by Ms. Sofie Carsten Nielsen, Danish Minister of Education and Science, during a Danish State Visit to China this week. As part of the educational program, the two universities will send the ten most talented telecommunications students each year for the next five years on a three-week trip to China. This trip aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to develop their ICT skills and industry expertise, in addition to experiencing Chinese culture first-hand.
Ms. Sofie Carsten Nielsen, Danish Minister of Education and Science, said: “It is with great joy that I announce this cooperation between Huawei and two of our leading universities in Denmark, through which we will send approximately 50 Danish telecom students to China over the next five years. The first 10 Danish students to participate in the “Telecom Seeds for the Future” program will travel to China in summer of 2014.
