GAITHERSBURG, Md., March 31, 2014 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings) today announced that Telecom Italia has selected BroadSoft to power the communication services of its new Nuvola It Comunicazione Integrata service, an integrated voice, data and applications offer.
Telecom Italia will leverage BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® and BroadCloud® platforms to offer a comprehensive suite of unified communications, including applications and features such as hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, instant messaging & presence, unified messaging, receptionist, audio conferencing and video calling. Telecom Italia will enable enterprises to access all of these business services across a variety of mobile devices with their branded version of BroadSoft’s BroadTouch® Business Communicator. With these modern communications services Italian businesses can increase the productivity of employees, simplify deployment and management of UC services, and reduce communications costs.
