ZAYO RECEIVES 2014 ATLANTIC-ACM CUSTOMER CHOICE AWARD

Leading Carrier Among Internet Content, Cable and Internet Service Providers

BOULDER, Colo. – Mar. 3, 2014 – Zayo Group, LLC (“Zayo”), an international provider of Bandwidth Infrastructure, was awarded an ATLANTIC-ACM Customer Choice Award for Operational Excellence Servicing Emerging Customers at the annual Metro Connect USA 2014 industry conference in Miami. The award is based on wholesale customer survey results for satisfaction in brand, sales representatives, provisioning, network performance, billing and customer service.

ATLANTIC-ACM handed out awards based on the 2013 Metro Carrier Report Card, which included more than 1,600 individual ratings of carriers by their wholesale customers. To be nominated for an award, a carrier had to have been rated among the top four performing carriers in one of three key verticals – wireline, wireless and emerging customers. Zayo received the top honor in the “emerging customers” category, which is defined as cable, content, ISP and VOIP companies.

“Since these awards are based on input from our customers, we take particular pride in this recognition.  The credit goes to our entire organization, from sales through service deliver, support and billing, for their focus on meeting and beating our customers’ high standards” says David Howson, president of Sales and Customer Management at Zayo.

At the industry awards dinner, Zayo was also recognized for its continued leadership in acquisitions as “Best Strategic Acquisition” for its recent purchase and integration of Access Communications, a provider of metro Bandwidth Infrastructure services in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn. The award recognizes acquisitions that are valued at less than $100 million.
