Partnership Expands the Frontier Secure Portfolio to the Smart Home
STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Frontier Communications (NYSE:FTR, news, filings) today announced a partnership between its Frontier Secure business unit and Dropcam Inc., makers of the leading Wi-Fi video monitoring camera and cloud service. Frontier customers can now access all Dropcam products, including the award-winning Dropcam Pro, a $199 wireless video monitoring system with two-way audio and night-vision capabilities. The image sensor in the Dropcam Pro camera is twice as big as previous models, allowing the camera to capture much more light and deliver a better picture with enhanced zoom capability. The camera includes Bluetooth LE, making it the ideal hub for the Connected Home. The Dropcam Pro can be installed by the customer, assisted by live support from Frontier’s 100 percent U.S.-based Premium Tech Support team.
