DuPont Fabros Technology Receives Open-IX Certification For Its ACC5 Data Center

LINX NoVA is Now Operational at ACC5

WASHINGTON, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE:DFT, news, filings) announced today that it has received the Open-IX certification for its ACC5 data center and also announced that the LINX NoVA Internet Exchange Point (IXP) is operational at DFT’s ACC5 data center located in Ashburn, Virginia.

The Open-IX Association is encouraging a more mutual and open model of Internet exchanges, and interconnection within data centers by issuing certification to IXPs and data centers who meet the standards set by the community.

The LINX NoVA Internet Exchange was the first IXP in the world to be certified by Open-IX and its presence in ACC5 will enable DFT’s customers within the Ashburn Corporate Campus to access the peering platform.

The London Internet Exchange core switch at DFT’s ACC5 data center has the capability of providing ports to customers with speeds ranging from 100Mbps to 100 Gbps and all ports are free until January 1st, 2015.
