Promoting in two sales channels, and growing both teams
Atlanta, Ga. – Dec. 27, 2014 - Birch Communications, a leading IP-based communications and cloud services provider to small- and medium-sized businesses, announced today that it has promoted Brad Smith to Vice President of Dealer Sales for Birch, and promoted Mike Otting to Vice President of Telesales.
“With the intensive growth of Birch in the last two years, our leadership team needed to expand,” said Vincent Oddo, president and CEO of Birch Communications. “We have been actively adding staff and key personnel across our entire platform. With these changes, and our recent restructuring of the sales channels, it was time to move these two key players into larger roles at Birch.”

Mike Otting will be responsible for managing all sales within the Birch Inbound, Prepaid, and Outbound Marketing Channels. Otting has worked at Birch Communications for over 12 years, starting as a call center sales representative and working his way through the company ranks.
Brad Smith will manage the national and regional sales managers for the Birch Dealer Sales Channels. Smith began his career as an entrepreneur with his own business which he ran successfully for nine years. He then joined Access Integrated Networks (now Birch), and has worked for Birch for 10 years. Smith attended the University of Tennessee.
