[Singapore, December 6, 2013]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, recently jointly won the “Infrastructure Management Project of the Year”award with PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL) at the 2013 Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice Awards in Singapore. The award cited a project called “Managed Services for TVO”aimed at realizing XL’s vision to be Indonesia’s cellular champion by “delivering high quality mobile services to customers”.
In January 2012, XL signed a Managed Services contract with Huawei to support and fulfill XL’s vision and strategy to deliver superior services to customers. Huawei’s “Managed Services for TVO”solution, based upon Revenue Enhancement, Customer Experience and Operational Efficiency, was readily mapped to XL’s strategy. The two companies fully aligned their strategy and solution, with goals and objectives defined within a transformation program.
Today, after 20 months of operations, XL’s 50 million end users enjoy the benefits of TVO through improved operational efficiency, customer experience, and the overall XL brand reputation and customer loyalty.
