[Jakarta, Indonesia, December 10, 2013]: PT Huawei Tech Investment (Huawei Indonesia/Huawei), a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has been named 2013 “Indonesia Telecom Equipment Vendor of the Year’ in Indonesia by Frost & Sullivan. The award marks the fifth year in a row that Huawei has received a major award from Frost & Sullivan, in recognition of its strong business performance, innovation and exceptional customer service.
Frost & Sullivan has recognized Huawei in the prestigious ICT category for its quality products and services that value functionality, originality and quality of innovation and solutions. Huawei was awarded also the Frost & Sullivan ‘Vendor of the Year award in 2011 and 2012. In 2009 and 2010, Huawei received the ‘Best Wireless Telecom Equipment Vendor of the Year award’.

Recipients of the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Awards were selected by industry analysts by comparing market participants and measuring performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research.
For Information & Communication Technologies sector, the findings of the detailed evaluation are then presented to a panel of independent judges comprising influential personalities and leaders in the Indonesia’s ICT industry, to decide on the recipient for each category.
