Verizon Named a 2013 Tech Innovator by CRN

Verizon Enterprise Solutions has been named a 2013 Tech Innovator by CRN. The annual Tech Innovator Awards recognize the vendors that have launched the most innovative new hardware and software solutions over the past year. Verizon was selected for Virtual Communications Express in the highly competitive Networking category.

Virtual Communications Express is a cloud-based VoIP solution that offers multi-featured advanced communications services designed for the small and medium-sized business market. Focused on SMBs that may be constrained by limited resources or lack of in-house IT expertise, Virtual Communications Express is a powerful and affordable collaboration tool that can be combined with Google Apps to offer advanced communication features such as “click-to-call” from e-mail, calendar and chat.

Each year, CRN Test Center Editors review hundreds of products to determine the best of the best. This year, companies were encouraged to submit across 17 hardware and software categories including enterprise management and productivity software; wireless networking; voice and data; enterprise network communications; display technology; handheld devices; PC servers; workstations and desktops; laptops; printing and imaging solutions; security; storage and cloud solutions; and virtualization. Winners were recently announced at a special presentation during the NexTI Conference.
