To help those in need in Central Illinois after the area was struck by a series of tornadoes, AT&T has stationed a customer service team in Washington, Ill. AT&T customers in need of assistance with account issues, or damaged and missing devices can receive one-on-one assistance at the mobile customer service station located at 20 Cherry Tree Shopping Center, Washington, Ill., 61571.
Furthermore, to assist wireless customers who reside in the affected areas, AT&T will be adjusting voice, data and text overage charges as well as late fees for service from November 17th through December 31st.
Charging stations are also available for any victims or volunteers that need to recharge mobile devices to reach friends, family and loved ones. The charging stations will recharge any mobile device regardless of carrier and can be found at the following locations:
- Glad Tidings Assembly of God: 2201 E. Washington St., East Peoria, IL. 61611. Open Monday-Friday from 9am – 7pm.
- St. Paul Lutheran Church: 108 E. Church St., Gifford, IL., 61847. Open Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm.
- Country Health Nursing: 2304 CR 3000 N. Gifford, IL. 61847. Open Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm.
- East Peoria Convention Center: 4200 E. Washington St. East Peoria, IL. 61611. Open Monday-Friday from 9am – 7pm.
