Interoute Jump StartUp provides startups with free Interoute Virtual Data Centre for one year
London, 23 October 2013: Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, has today announced the launch of its free Jump StartUp package which will give startups and developers access to its flexible, on-demand cloud hosting service, Interoute Virtual Data Centre (VDC), for up to a year. Interoute VDC is the only cloud service to offer free data transfer across Europe, giving startups unrestricted access to Interoute’s networked cloud computing.
Built into Interoute’s pan-European network which spans more than 60,000km of lit fibre, Interoute VDC combines the benefits of the cloud with the power of an owned network to give lightning fast performance. By setting up a virtual machine in Berlin and another in Paris, developers can, for example, distribute their computing functions around the network, resulting in a faster network with more quickly available services. And because Interoute VDC comes with the network built in, users can move data between the two zones without incurring any transfer fees.
