Integrated Management Boosts Highly Efficient Energy Network

——Huawei Network Energy Unveiled on BBWF 2013

[Netherlands, Amsterdam, Oct. 23, 2013]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, attended Broad Band World Forum (BBWF) 2013 in Netherlands, Amsterdam. On the forum during Oct. 22th - 24th, Huawei showed its leading integrated network energy solutions to the global customers.

Entering into the ultra wide band era, the continuous network evolution keeps enriching people’s lives. FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) is one of the trends. By convergence from multi-aspects, like the networks, management platform, business and so on, erases lines between fixed and wireless network and makes the communication much more convenient. However it challenges the carriers because they need new generation of system platforms: higher efficiency, smaller size and higher capacity. Realizing simplification, integration and unification will make the infrastructure systems cater to any kind of network, business or environment even requires in the future.

On account of understanding about the network evolution and customers’ need, Huawei provides site power solutions with high efficiency, integration and unification. The indoor power systems coordinate main equipment, power supply and back-up, by which makes the site expansion much easier. The integrated outdoor power solutions would effectively implement the deployment of no matter wireless or fixed sites; also overcome most of the environment limit and guarantee the reliability. Huawei’s NetEco site management system could adopt in-band transmission via Huawei’s equipments. This will help the customers cut down large CapEx and OpEx. Aim at the growing popular LLU (Local Loop Unbundling) business, Huawei provides flexible, unified power solutions for the 'last mile' customers: highly compact and integrated, unified platform for different scenarios and network types, by which realized real network business convergence and cut down maintenance cost.

On Oct.23rd, Huawei hold "Green Summit" and invited customers from KPN, BT, and TI. It was a very great time for the Huawei energy experts and the customers to share high-efficiency power technology with each other. By these green energy solutions, Huawei helps customers to build the new generation efficient network.
