Birch increases senior credit capacity to $175 million and adds Union Bank to its banking group
ATLANTA, Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Birch Communications, Inc., a leading IP-based telecom and managed services provider to small- and medium-sized businesses, announced today that it has refinanced its senior credit facility with a substantial increase in available capital. Union Bank also joins Bank of America, PNC, Wells Fargo, and CoBank in the credit with a commitment of $25 million. Birch will use a portion of the proceeds to pay off its subordinated indebtedness and to fund the acquisition of selected assets of Lightyear Network Solutions.
