Integra Unifies Multi-State Provider of Healthcare Services with Full Suite of High-Bandwidth Voice and Data Services
PORTLAND, Ore. – Aug. 21, 2013 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has been chosen by EmpRes Healthcare Management, LLC, provider of management and consulting services to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living centers, to deliver Voice Services, High Speed Internet, Colocation and Data Networking Services, including Wireless Backup of their data services.
With 45 sites located across the western United States, EmpRes Healthcare required reliable, secure communications solutions with a higher level of integration to better enable the company’s business processes. EmpRes also needed a communications infrastructure to support their critical implementation of HIPAA-compliant electronic health records company-wide.
“Our previous carrier’s solutions resulted in a lot of network interruptions which were costly and challenging to troubleshoot,” said Rod Adams, director of network operations for EmpRes Healthcare. “We needed to find a service provider that would work with us to find resolutions, and we needed someone who valued customer service the way we do. Integra is not only flexible and responsive to our needs, but they provide a level of expertise and customer support that gives us confidence we can easily scale our solutions with our business growth.”
EmpRes chose Integra’s Data Networking and Colocation services to help manage operational and financial activities. Using Integra’s high-speed Internet services, EmpRes employees have easy access to electronic files via a shared network. These network enhancements, in conjunction with Integra’s Voice Communications, equip EmpRes’ IT customer service team with the necessary solutions to provide superior support regardless of physical location. EmpRes also required a backup solution like Integra’s Wireless Backup that offers protection against network disruptions and assures service continuity.
“Integra understands the mission-critical applications and ‘always-on’ data requirements of enterprises in the healthcare industry. Our dense fiber network and robust product portfolio allows companies like EmpRes Healthcare to unify their communications systems with innovative products through a superior high-bandwidth infrastructure,” said Ken Smith, executive vice president of sales at Integra. “We’re proud to offer fast and secure connectivity that allowed EmpRes to transform their data system while streamlining processes across their 45-site footprint.”
