Solution Leverages Unified Communications to Deliver Single Business Identity Across Multiple Devices

(NASDAQ:CBEY, news, filings), the technology ally for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced the general availability of its Communications on the Go solution which offers a cloud-based phone system with advanced call management features accessed from desktop phones, mobile handsets and devices, either at the office or remotely. Communications on the Go incorporates several Cbeyond products and features —TotalCloud™ Phone System (TCPS), Cbeyond Communicator (for Desktop and for Mobile), Cbeyond Mobile and Cbeyond’s Managed Network Service— all delivered as one seamless and integrated business communications solution.

The TotalCloud Phone System (TCPS) service is designed specifically for small to mid-sized businesses with office, remote and mobile workers. The service routes and prioritizes voice traffic via Cbeyond’s carrier-class private IP-network connected to Cbeyond’s secure, professionally managed data centers.

Cbeyond Communicator for Mobile, a smartphone application, extends TotalCloud Phone System (TCPS) business grade calling features and functionality to the mobile handset for remote and travelling employees. It also turns smartphones into dual identity devices that can place and receive calls using both traditional, desktop business phone numbers and a personal mobile number that can be kept private.  Users of Cbeyond Communicator for Mobile also provide their customers with better response times and a more satisfying interaction, as customers are able to reach employees regardless of work location or device being used.
