Paris, August 28, 2013 – Alcatel-Lucent today announced the appointment of Jean Raby as Chief Financial & Legal Officer, effective September 1, 2013. Jean Raby will relocate to Alcatel-Lucent’s headquarters in Paris.
Jean Raby served as a Partner and Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs until the end of 2012. In this position, he built relationships and provided strategic and corporate finance advice to clients across multiple industry sectors, including in telecom and information technologies. Previously, he worked as an associate attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell from 1989 to 1996. Jean Raby was born and raised in Canada. He holds a LLB from the Université Laval in Quebec City, a MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge in the UK and a LLM from the Harvard Law School. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1988.
