High Fiber Count Network Extends reach to Surrounding Markets
BOULDER, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zayo Group announces it is expanding its fiber network in the San Diego market by over 5,000 fiber miles. The expansion will provide additional capacity on existing routes, as well as extend its metro network to include surrounding communities of Oceanside, Encinitas, Del Mar and Escondido. The new network will provide access to important carrier, healthcare, technology, energy and government locations.
As part of this project, Zayo will also enable San Diego with access to its international long haul network for transport, IP and colocation services. Zayo’s fiber network spans 74,300 route miles providing connectivity to 283 markets throughout the US and Western Europe.
