GENBAND to Present at Enterprise Connect’s “Implementing SIP Trunking” Virtual Event

Frisco, Texas, July 2, 2013GENBAND, a leading developer of multimedia and cloud communications solutions, today announced that it will participate as a presenter and Diamond sponsor in Enterprise Connect’s “Implementing SIP Trunking” Virtual Event, which takes place July 10, from 11:00 AM – 5 PM EDT.  GENBAND’s Senior Vice President of Enterprise, Carl Baptiste, and Director of Solutions Marketing Ashish Jain will present the webinar, SIP Trunking: Ready for Prime Time at 2 PM EDT. In addition to highlighting real-world use cases, the webinar will explore the benefits, challenges and best practices associated with implementing SIP Trunking and cloud-based Unified Communications solutions in enterprises.

The“Implementing SIP Trunking” virtual event will feature several sessions exploring the technical challenges and communications potential of SIP trunks. Issues such as IP-PBX interoperability, complex procurement and implementation requirements, and deployment models still present major challenges for enterprises and carriers.  These and other issues will be examined during the event.  GENBAND will feature a virtual tradeshow booth highlighting its industry-leading SIP Trunking solutions.  The booth will be staffed by company subject matter experts who will be available to interact with visitors and provide unique live solutions overviews and answer questions throughout the event.

GENBAND’s participation in “Implementing SIP Trunking” follows on the heels of the unveiling of its QUANTiX™ QFlexEnterprise SBC in April 2013, which supports the rise in demand for SIP Trunking services and provides essential security, connectivity and interoperability services across enterprise and service provider networks. The software-based QFlex Enterprise SBC employs a unique and modular approach to solving interoperability issues by supporting more than 60 different IP-PBX’s and their various software releases, helping to significantly reduce the deployment time of SIP Trunking services. QFlex resolves IP-PBX-related interoperability challenges by providing a demarcation point that protects both the service provider and enterprise sides of the connection by utilizing flexible adaptors to secure and normalize traffic. For enterprises, QFlex allows for seamless interworking of multi-vendor PBXs across different branch offices, routes traffic in IP-enabled call centers, and allows remote users and satellite offices to securely connect to corporate IP communication systems.

Additionally, GENBAND will showcase its NUViATM Unified Communications as a Service cloud offering, which is powered by the EXPERiUSTM solution. These latest additions to GENBAND’s portfolio expand the company’s end-to-end offerings for enterprises deploying SIP Trunking and Unified Communications solutions.
