TelecityGroup’s innovative approach to energy efficiency secures nomination in ‘Green IT Project of the Year’ category
TelecityGroup, Europe’s industry-leading provider of premium carrier-neutral data centres, has been shortlisted for the ‘Green IT Project of the Year’ category of the 2013 BusinessGreen Leaders Awards.
The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards recognise the achievements of the leading businesses and individuals across the green economy in the UK. TelecityGroup has been nominated in the ‘Green IT Project of the Year’ category, which recognises organisations that have deployed the most innovative technologies and initiatives to minimise their carbon footprint and enhance energy efficiency.
The nomination recognises TelecityGroup’s industry-leading approach to energy efficiency. In the past year TelecityGroup has driven accountability in the data centre industry by being the first to commit to long-term and clear carbon management targets, and implemented cutting-edge technologies and data centre designs to minimise the overall environmental impact of its operations.
