Located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, CyrusOne’s Carrollton facility is home to the company’s headquarters. Six phases of colocation space are planned for this location. The first phase, at 47,000 square feet, was commissioned after just 14 weeks from the start of work. Carrollton is the company’s first Massively Modular® data center—an engineering approach that delivers industry-leading energy optimization and uses just-in-time inventory management to quickly and efficiently build data center space as customer demand requires it.
The Carrollton location has 60,000 square feet of Class A office space and customer amenities including a modern cafeteria and two-story recreation area. The entire facility is large enough to house six 747 airplanes, four football fields, a dozen space shuttles and two Washington Monuments.
