EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS
- Implementing SIP Trunks for Your Enterprise
In this session, a leading consultant will provide attendees with the practical information needed in order to implement enterprise SIP Trunks in the most cost-efficient manner. The session will include a brief review of the technical basics of SIP Trunking, and from there will cover interoperability and the other most common procurement challenges and implementation issues.
- SIP Trunk Architectures and Opportunities
Technology vendors will debate the merits of different architectures and implementation options for SIP Trunks. This session will also explore how SIP Trunking architecture decisions will be affected by larger transitions in enterprise IT such as virtualization/datacenter consolidation; the migration to Unified Communications; and carriers’ technology roadmaps.
- SIP Trunks and the End-to-End IP Network
The migration to SIP Trunks is part of a larger transition occurring in the public networks, both wireline and wireless—carriers are transitioning to all-IP networks, moving off of legacy PSTN and cellular 2G/3G technologies, and onto wireless 4G and a true multimedia Internet. This session will provide attendees with an understanding of how this transition is occurring, what role SIP Trunks play as well as when to expect these changes.
- SIP Trunking Users Speak Out
This session will feature representatives of enterprise end user organizations that have made the move to SIP Trunking, or that are in the process of migrating. They’ll talk about their experiences and then open the floor to questions, comments, and concerns. This session will give attendees the opportunity to close the day by hearing real-world stories from peers, with takeaways drawn from real-life experiences.
