Estrella TV Selects Level 3 to Distribute its Broadcast Programming to Local Affiliates Across the U.S.

National Spanish-Language TV Network to Rely on Level 3’s Vyvx Solutions to Transmit Programming to its Stations in North America

BROOMFIELD, Colo., May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (LVLT) today announced it will serve as the primary broadcast distribution partner for Estrella TV, a top U.S. Hispanic television network providing a broad range of programming including talk, drama, comedy, variety, reality and music.

Using its Vyvx Solutions broadcast services, Level 3 will deliver Estrella TV’s content to 40 local affiliates around the nation. Viewers can enjoy a wide variety of programming including entertainment-focused shows like “Mi Sueno es Bailar” and “Noches con Platanito,” up-to-the-minute soccer coverage, and news programs such as “Noticias 62 en Vivo” and “En la Mira con Enrique Gratas.”
