Opening Ceremony of KDDI Myanmar

On April 10, 2013, KDDI held the opening ceremony for its newest office, KDDI Myanmar. The ceremony hosted over 100 people including Mr. Ichiro Maruyama, Counselor and Head of the Chancellery of the Japanese Embassy in Myanmar, Mr. Hideshi Mega, Japanese President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Yangon and Mr. Tin Win, CEO of Yadanarpon Teleport.

KDDI Myanmar provides support to its customers requiring network construction, systems integration, and IT support. KDDI Myanmar’s solutions allow its customers to effectively extend their business within the region by addressing the challenges typically found within an emerging market. This may include limited on-site resources, rising rent costs, and blackouts caused by shortage of power.

In addition, KDDI Myanmar Business Center is in the same building providing customers office space with IT infrastructure, and maintenance and operational services.
