MegaPath installs its T1 and Ethernet circuits using Edgewater’s voice-ready ESBC as a WAN access router, making it seamless for MegaPath customers to implement Hosted Voice and SIP Trunking services immediately, or as a future service upgrade.
The Edgewater EM 4552 serves as the demarcation point for MegaPath services at the customer premises, providing T1 or Ethernet termination, data routing, Quality of Service (QoS) and the VoIP interoperability needed to reduce costs, increase the speed of deployment and ensure high quality service delivery. The EdgeView VoIP Support System is used by MegaPath as a diagnostic tool that provides visibility into the performance of VoIP services.

By utilizing the EdgeView VoIP Support System, MegaPath’s Network Operations Center (NOC) has the ability to monitor call quality and perform advanced diagnostics that enable them to provide responsive, business-class services.
