Interxion’s London Campus now offers access via BT Radianz Cloud

LONDON – 24 Apr 2012 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE:INXN, news), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, today announced that BT will offer a range of its BT Radianz services from Interxion’s City of London data centre campus.

The BT Radianz Cloud platform has been extended into Interxion’s campus platform enabling direct access for the BT Radianz Cloud community around the world.  BT can also offer its BT Radianz Hosting services for remote management of customers’ network and IT inside the Interxion data centre.  In addition, Interxion’s customers can benefit from the availability of BT Radianz Venue Interconnect, which provides optimised low-latency connectivity between Interxion’s City of London campus and datacentres in five key financial centres – Milan, Stockholm, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

The BT Radianz Cloud, ¬ which supports the world’s largest secure networked financial community, enables financial market participants globally to exchange market information, trade with each other and clear and settle transactions.

Tom Regent, president global banking & financial markets, BT Global Services, says: “Our customers demand fast, secure and reliable access to international trading venues, which are exactly what the BT Radianz Cloud delivers globally.  As the automated global trading community seeks ever-faster communication, the need for optimised low-latency access to execution venues and trading platforms is increasingly important.  We believe that offering access to BT Radianz Services from Interxion London will create many new business opportunities for both of our companies.”

Douglas Loewe, Managing Director UK, Interxion, comments: “This announcement further reinforces Interxion’s London campus as one of the key community data centres for the financial markets to house their critical infrastructure.  Having BT Radianz services made available to our London data centre also increases the value Interxion can offer to its financial community.  With more than 200 financial services institutions, as well as more than 15 liquidity venues and all the major market data vendors, Interxion London is the logical choice for those companies delivering solutions to the financial services market.”
