Oasis-themed event on May 9 to showcase CyrusOne’s newest, largest, and most energy-efficient data center
Dallas, TX (April 26, 2013) –Global data center services provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) today announced details of its open-house event to celebrate the first phase of its 1,000,000-square-foot Phoenix, Ariz., data center. Executive leadership and information technology management of Fortune 1000 enterprises are invited to tour more than 36,000 feet of commissioned space at one of the largest and most energy-efficient data centers in the United States. The open house, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Mountain Time, will showcase CyrusOne’s industry-leading facility design and technologies in a relaxing oasis getaway environment.
This master-planned campus is built on 56 acres of land and will provide data center space plus Class A office space. The campus is designed using CyrusOne’s unique Massively Modular® engineering methods to enable quick deployment of customer data center requirements, including single-purpose built dedicated facilities, as well as shared infrastructure solutions. These elements enable customers to scale their environments based on changing IT demands.

The first phase of the Phoenix data center was commissioned in a record-setting seven months from the start of construction in May 2012. In total, the facility footprint will include nearly 1,000,000 square feet with power capacity of 110 megawatts delivered from an on-site substation.
