TelecityGroup plc (‘TelecityGroup’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the appointment to its Board yesterday of Claudia Arney and Nancy Cruickshank as Independent Non-Executive Directors.
Claudia Arney is an active and experienced board member with a detailed understanding of technology and media. Her current non-executive roles include Chairman of the Public Data Group; board member of Halfords plc and of Which?, as well as UK advisory board member of Huawei. Claudia’s career includes executive roles at Pearson PLC, Goldman Sachs, Emap and also for HM Treasury as Director, Enterprise and Growth Unit.
Nancy Cruickshank is the current Interim Chief Executive Officer for Weve, a mobile wallet joint venture between Vodafone, Everything Everywhere and O2 and is one of the UK’s leading digital experts. Nancy was founder and CEO of Handbag.com, the leading Fashion and Beauty site in the UK sold to Hearst Corporation in 2006. She has also acted as Executive Consulting Director, M&A for the Telegraph Media Group; Global Chief Executive Officer for VideoJug; and Managing Director of [.tv], the technology channel of BSkyB.
TelecityGroup also announces that Sahar Elhabashi, an Independent Non-Executive Director, is stepping down from the Board today as she will be focussing full time on her Executive position at Condé Nast’s Entertainment Division in the United States.
