“Disruptive technologies, new business models and regulatory changes continue to drive huge shifts in communications consumption and usage at all levels of business,” said Weber, Cbeyond’s general counsel. “It matters now more than ever that we continue to shed light on the issues, threats and opportunities faced by small and mid-sized businesses, the job engine of the nation, as they seek to adopt new technologies such as cloud.”
Weber joined Cbeyond in 2006 as the company’s first in-house counsel, and now serves as general counsel, leading the company’s legal and regulatory departments. Before Cbeyond, Weber spent four years at Covad Communications, rising to vice president of Regulatory Affairs and Operations, leading regulatory and legislative affairs in 28 states.
