Amsio chooses Interxion´s Cloud Hub to house first European private cloud environment based on Microsoft Windows Cloud OS

SCHIPHOL-RIJK, 27 March 2013 –INTERXION HOLDING NV, (NYSE:INXN, news), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, today announces that Amsio, a leading managed hosting provider, active in the Dutch market since 2000, has chosen Interxion to host the first private cloud environment in Europe based on Microsoft Windows Cloud OS.

The deployment of this Cloud Platform at Interxion’s Dutch Cloud Hub enables Amsio to offer its customers virtual servers based on Windows Server 2012 technology with the highest SLA and application performance. Companies can test the service free of charge on the available test lab, the result of close co-operation with Microsoft,  HP and Interxion.

Amsio is the first European service provider that has transformed the idea of Microsoft Cloud OS into a product for the market. The Amsio Cloud Platform offers companies flexibility and scalability, this way they deploying the required computing capacity and easily adjusting this if necessary. In the Cloud Platform companies can create their own cloud applications that run on Windows Azure.
