Level 3 Services Improve Dafiti’s Site Security, Speed and Performance

SAO PAULO, Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced it has entered into an agreement with online retailer Dafiti, one of the largest fashion e-commerce companies in Brazil, to provide hosting and infrastructure services. Under the agreement, Level 3 also provides Internet access and data redundancy via its Premier Elite data centers in Brazil.

Dafiti’s online retail business has reached 50 million monthly visits and 25 million unique visitors shopping for clothes, shoes and accessories, as well as beauty and home products.

“It is essential that our customers have positive experiences, such as a safe, fast and easy-to-navigate site, supporting a large number of visits,” explained Rodrigo Rodrigues, CIO at Dafiti. “This is the recipe to generate sales growth, and Level 3 services are necessary to support and guarantee the high availability of our online store.”
