Dedicated, secure, low latency connections to iland’s public cloud now available across TelecityGroup’s UK facilities
iland, the global cloud infrastructure provider, has today launched iland CloudConnect, offering VMware® customers located in TelecityGroup’s UK data centres a direct connection to iland’s infrastructure as a service (IaaS) cloud. iland CloudConnect enables enterprises to build cost-effective and flexible hybrid cloud environments by establishing a dedicated network connection from private VMware-based platforms to iland’s cloud.
The direct connection, newly available to TelecityGroup customers wanting to connect into the iland platform, enables reduced network costs, increased bandwidth throughput, and a more consistent network experience than internet-based connections. The service is available immediately for customers based in any of TelecityGroup’s data centres in the UK. Customers with equipment located in their own office or data centre can also access the service via the choice of over 400 carriers available in TelecityGroup data centres.
