TelecityGroup, Europe’s leading provider of carrier-neutral data centres, announced today that the Chinese company Perfect World, one of the world’s largest online game publishers has decided to house its mission-critical IT-infrastructure in TelecityGroup’s AMS 5 data centre in Amsterdam South East. By choosing AMS 5, Perfect World, which has major subsidiaries in Europe and the US serving millions of players, is ensuring that European users of its popular games such as Neverwinter, Star Trek Online and Forsaken World will continue to receive a seamless service. A leader in Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs), Perfect World’s games are free-to-play and are an extremely popular way of gaming with players of all ages.
As an existing customer in TelecityGroup’s Amstel Business Park data centre AMS 4, Perfect World’s decision to expand its operations within a private suite in AMS 5 is a testament to the combination of quality of service, support and engineering expertise plus high levels of connectivity provided by TelecityGroup.
