Huawei Dorado series solid state storage systems not only provide outstanding performance but also have extraordinary adaptability to application environments. Besides the VMware ESXi 5.1/5.0 certification, Huawei Dorado series have obtained the SAP storage certification. This enables customers to easily apply Huawei Dorado series to infrastructure virtualization and core database applications.

In addition to providing high-performance and reliable storage for core services, OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 also features enhanced applicability and functionality. It provides 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel ports, 10 Gbit/s iSCSI ports, and 40 Gbit/s IB QDR ports to support various networking modes. Thin provisioning, a new function provided by OceanStor Dorado2100 G2, allocates the capacity on demand throughout service development phases, further improving return on investment (ROI).

OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 helps data centers handle internal data interactions more quickly, meeting applications’ needs for low access latency and maximizing the overall efficiency. The active-active dual-controller architecture, together with the redundancy and hot-swap design implemented for all key components, enables OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 to provide outstanding data protection, preventing a single point of failure and achieving MTBF of a million-hour level. This effectively ensures business continuity.

“Huawei is dedicated to technology innovations based on customer needs. Our solutions are designed specifically for customers who want to improve service efficiency. With technologies that we have independent intellectual property rights and our expertise in the storage field, we have developed a set of comprehensive and powerful products.” said Mr. Fan Ruiqi, president of Huawei storage product line. He also added: “Performance, availability, and ease of use are the core principles that we always follow in our product development. The release of Dorado2100 G2 once again shows our long-term accumulations of storage technologies and great advantages in technology innovation.”

OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 is a high-performance storage system with superb scalability. It can be upgraded to provide customized service support for enterprises of various sizes, fully leveraging its unique technical advantages to help enterprises ensure smooth running of mission-critical service systems. Based on advanced high-speed cache management and I/O scheduling algorithms, OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 provides quick response capabilities in complicated computing environments. This enables OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 to be customers’ best choice in terms of mission-critical large database applications (OLTP/OLAP), such as ERP, BI, and CRM.
