VTLWaveNet selected as an Accredited Connectivity Partner by London Stock Exchange Group

VTLWaveNet has been named an Accredited Connectivity Partner (ACP) by London Stock Exchange Group, operator of a broad range of international equity, bond and derivatives markets.

A select number of industry leading telecommunications providers have been chosen to work with London Stock Exchange Group to help provide direct and dedicated connectivity to the market. These Accredited Connectivity Partners have been chosen based on a demonstration of dedication to supporting mission critical market data with the reliability and stability required of the financial markets.

The addition of Accredited Connectivity Partners to London Stock Exchange’s new service ‘Customer Managed Connectivity’ (CMC) provides access to a wide range of customers, including members and non-members of the exchange, Market Data Vendors and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

With VTLWaveNet selected as an Accredited Connectivity Partner, customers can gain access to an optimised network infrastructure that is engineered for low latency, resiliency and scalability with connection speeds ranging from 2MB to 10GB bandwidth. VTLWaveNet’s wholly owned network infrastructure spans across Western Europe with direct reach into key cities such as London, Slough, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Geneva and Zurich. The VTLWaveNet network also connects into sites in Milan which includes Borsa Italiana, part of London Stock Exchange Group.

Kerstin Dinklage, SVP Sales & Business Development at VTLWaveNet comments:

“We are delighted to have been named as an Accredited Connectivity Partner and we look forward to providing customers who join us through the programme with a swift delivery of service and diverse, low latency routes that deliver excellent value for money.”

Nigel Harold, Head of Business Development - Technology at London Stock Exchange Group, said:

“We are pleased to have VTLWaveNet involved in this exciting new project. It is important for our clients to have choice and flexibility in connecting to our trading and real-time market data services, and our Customer Managed Connectivity Service will be greatly enhanced by VTLWaveNet’s experience and expertise.”
