Funding will help museum build a 30,000-square foot permanent facility
MANKATO, Minn. – Nov. 12, 2012– HickoryTech(NASDAQ:HTCO, news, filings)announced today that it will donate $50,000 to the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesotato aid the organization in building a new facility in Mankato, Minn. The organization, currently operating in a temporary location in downtown Mankato, recently announced HickoryTech’s donation helped them meet the mid-point goal of their $4 million campaign.

The children’s museum opened its first temporary site in Mankato in 2009. The new facility will include seven indoor galleries, two outdoor galleries, a family café and a center for families and learning.
