New platform will expedite the adoption of cloud collaboration & unified communications solutions in Mexico
Cisco Live! México, Cancun, Quintana Roo, November 7, 2012 – Evox, a leading provider of collaboration and communications solutions services in Mexico, announced today the launch of “CollaborationOne”, a new Collaboration-as-a-Service (CaaS) offer using Cisco® technology. This hosted service will expedite the adoption of collaboration applications and services through the cloud in Mexico and is based on the Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) from Cisco. Some HCS capabilities include IP telephony, telepresence, contact center and web conferencing.
Through Cisco’s cloud collaboration offering, Evox is enabling end users regardless of geographic or operational diversity to access collaboration applications. CollaborationOne uses a flexible, pay-as-you-go model that preserves precious capital for core business priorities, rather than supporting infrastructure.
The CollaborationOne offering from Evox will initially include Cisco’s industry leading Unified Communications, mobility and video solutions as well as Customer Collaboration (contact center), and a suite of Cisco’s collaboration applications such as Cisco WebEx®, for effective online meetings, and Cisco Jabber®, an all-in-one UC client that allows users to interact via IM/presence, voice, video, voice messaging and conferencing from any device. Other social media applications will be made available in future releases.
Evox will provide a complete solution of Hosted Communications Solutions that offer high flexibility and agility of implementation for companies with 250 and more employees.
By using the “as a service” model, which takes advantage of the power of the cloud, the offer allows businesses in Mexico to have access to next-generation collaboration solutions without the need for heavy investments in dedicated infrastructure, and to have more clarity on the effective monthly cost.
Additional benefits for end users include the delivery of a people-centric collaboration experience anywhere, with any content, on any device. CollaborationOne uses a flexible, pay-as-you-go model that preserves precious capital for core business priorities, rather than supporting infrastructure.
CollaborationOne from Evox reduces operational overhead and allows for a greater focus on IT strategy and planning and is designed to remain current with the latest releases of the collaboration applications that this solution helps enable. The companies can rest assured that they will always have access to the most innovative collaboration tools on the market.
CollaborationOne is scheduled to be available for customers in Mexico in the first quarter of 2013 and will operate from data centers located in Mexico.
