Appointment of Additional Sales Management Role Supports UNSi’s Growth Pattern
October 3, 2012, Austin, TX: United Network Services, Inc. (UNSi), a next generation carrier and provider of “intelligent & flexible” internet and managed services, announced today at the IT Expo Conference held in Austin, Texas, that it has named Stephen John as Vice President of Sales, responsible for growing and managing the UNSi sales team. Mr. John has a twenty-five year background in the technology, cable and telecommunications industries and will play an important role as UNSi continues to redefine the telecom landscape with its leading MPLS and VPLS exchange platforms.
This appointment represents a second term with UNSi for Mr. John, as he was the original founder and primary driver behind the early entrepreneurial success of the company when it became one of the largest broadband aggregators in the US. Most recently, Mr. John was the President and CEO of Cheetah Technologies which provided management systems to broadband network providers and video service providers. He has previously served in management roles at both Charter Business Networks and Advanced Telecom. “Stephen’s heart has always beaten for the success of UNSi, and it’s great to get his enthusiasm and passion solely back in our court.
