Strategic Alliance Expands Inteliquent’s Ethernet Services in Southern Africa; Enhances Vox’s Layer 2 Coverage Globally

The agreement both strengthens Inteliquent’s coverage throughout Southern Africa and provides Vox access to Inteliquent’s EtherCloud(SM) solution across the globe.

The agreement provides Vox Telecom access to Inteliquent’s EtherCloud solution to extend its Global Ethernet reach by leveraging on Inteliquent’s over 130 points of presence (PoP) worldwide, significantly increasing the availability of Vox Telecom’s Layer 2 Ethernet services to locations currently off-net; particularly in Europe and North America. Moreover, Inteliquent will leverage Vox Telecom’s comprehensive coverage in the Southern African region to fulfill growing demand for Ethernet in that market. As a result, the agreement will expand both companies’ Ethernet services to high demand markets.
