Zayo Upgrades Spokane to Portland Route

LOUISVILLE, Colo. – August 28, 2012 – Zayo Group announces that it has upgraded its fiber route from Spokane to Portland. As an already low-latency and unique route in Zayo’s portfolio, the Spokane to Portland route has upgraded capacity.

With these improvements, Zayo will add 400G of capacity to the route and further enhance its ability to service major carriers, industries and businesses in the region. The Spokane to Portland route upgrades entail new equipment deployment and replacement of some existing gear. The route will also ensure diverse connectivity to 2001 6th Ave, azColo facility and major data center in Seattle, to Spokane, Washington and Portland, Oregon.

“The Spokane to Portland route serves as a differentiator for Zayo’s wavelength service,” states Zach Nebergall of Zayo’s Wavelength Product Group. “It provides diversity from other Spokane to Seattle routes, and gives Zayo the ability to serve more customers in the Spokane, Portland and Seattle metro markets.”
