GRAND RAPIDS, MI – US Signal, an industry leading service provider in network and infrastructure solutions, today announced that its Resource Pool public cloud service has achieved VMware vCloud® Powered status, illustrating to customers that the company’s cloud services are underpinned by VMware’s leading virtualization and cloud computing technology, namely VMware vSphere® and VMware vCloud Director. A member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP), US Signal provides its VMware vCloud Powered service as a set of cloud computing services across a common platform, supporting the largest set of existing applications and offering distinctive application mobility uniquely available from VMware.

US Signal sought VMware vCloud® Powered validation in order to partner with the industry leading provider of virtualization and cloud infrastructure, and allow customers to move resources seamlessly from their current vSphere-based environment to a vCloud Powered solution and back again. As a validated provider, US Signal can now provide users with enhanced responsiveness and agility, and reduced IT costs through increased consolidation, task automation and simplified management. The service debuted on August 1, 2012, in order to give customers a solution that is secure, agile and provide faster response to the IT demands of their business.
