TelecityGroup has today announced it has acquired Tenue Oy (“Tenue”), one of Finland’s leading providers of carrier-neutral data centres, for a consideration of £3.7 million in cash. In total TelecityGroup gains one of the most connected data centres in Helsinki, plus another under construction.
Tenue operates a high quality carrier-neutral data centre with around 1MW of current customer capacity. A new data centre is currently under construction in Helsinki which will offer a further 4MW of customer capacity. Helsinki is an emerging internet hub city within the strong Nordic region demonstrating significant growth potential and which offers easy access to Russia and the Baltic countries.
