TECH VALLEY COMMUNICATIONS EARNS “PERFECT” RATING FROM NYS PSC FOR 8TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

ALBANY, N.Y.- The New York State Public Service Commission has again recognized Tech Valley Communications for exemplary customer service with its annual Outstanding Customer Service Award. Specifically, the Commission commended CEO Kevin O'Connor and his staff for the "high quality of telephone service which it provided during 2011," marking the eighth consecutive year Tech Valley Communications has earned this distinction. Tech Valley Communications has been the recipient of the prestigious NYSPSC award every year since 2004, meeting all commendation criteria and scoring a perfect rating of 100 % for overall service quality, satisfactorily answering and resolving service inquiries and concerns, while minimizing major service outages. During 2011, despite service interruptions resulting from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, Tech Valley Communications maintained its high standard of service. The NYSPSC has been publicly recognizing local exchange carriers since 1988.
