Pacnet Appoints Paisan Kaweyanun as Thailand Country Manager

BANGKOK, 5 June 2012 – Pacnet has appointed Paisan Kaweyanun as Country Manager of Pacnet Thailand and he is responsible for the strategic growth and expansion of the company’s operations in Thailand.

Mr Paisan brings to Pacnet more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in Thailand. A hands-on professional with a proven record of success in Thailand, Mr Paisan has a strong background in all areas of the telecoms business, from engineering and operations to sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Pacnet, Mr Paisan was Advisor to the CEO of Jasmine Group, a Thailand-based telecommunications consultancy, where he developed the group’s direction and strategy, as well as managed the performance of its subsidiary companies.

In his 22 years of service with the Jasmine Group, he has held key leadership positions including SVP of Sales and Marketing and later General Manager of the company.

Mr Paisan has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree, specializing in telecoms and electronics, and an Executive MBA from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
