BTI Systems Drives Hanoi Telecom’s Nationwide Ethernet Business Services Launch in Vietnam

Next-Gen Carrier Ethernet Solution Simplifies Operations and Delivers Competitive Advantage

SINGAPORE – June 20, 2012

BTI Systems, the global leader redefining service delivery for metro network operators, today announced that Hanoi Telecom Corporation has selected BTI’s Carrier Ethernet Business Services solution to fuel the cost-effective, rapid delivery of Ethernet Business services to its enterprise customers throughout Vietnam. In order for Hanoi Telecom to maintain a business advantage in this highly competitive region, the company sought to launch new Carrier Ethernet Business services to its customers in key market sectors including financial services, government, manufacturing, and information and communications technology (ICT).

In partnership with Escom Co., Ltd, a value added distributor and solutions provider, Hanoi Telecom selected BTI’s 700 Series with the proNXTM Service Manager based on its ease of implementation, reliability and low-latency performance. The cornerstone of BTI’s Carrier Ethernet Business Services solution, the compact, carrier-grade, MEF-certified BTI 700 Series enabled Hanoi Telecom to deploy its new metroE platform cost effectively, while accelerating the provisioning of Ethernet services to businesses from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and across 25 cities.

Escom integrated the BTI 700 Series seamlessly into Hanoi Telecom’s existing DWDM backbone. Doing so enabled the delivery of a complete range of Ethernet services, including E-LINE and E-LAN to enterprise customers. Tightly integrated with the BTI 700 Series, the proNX Service Manager is designed to simplify operations and automate service delivery and monitoring through a one-click, intuitive and feature-rich GUI. Providing a comprehensive, customer-oriented view of the network, the proNX Service Manager helps Hanoi Telecom expedite end-to-end service provisioning and management, and speed time to revenue.
