Atlanta, Ga. – June 1, 2012 – Birch Communications, Inc. a leading IP-based telecom and managed services provider to small- and medium-sized businesses has just promoted Christopher J. Bunce from Vice President and General Counsel to Senior Vice President, Legal & Regulatory, and General Counsel.
“Chris is a 12-year veteran of Birch Communications and has done a wonderful job for us managing the legal and regulatory matters at Birch,” said Vincent Oddo, president and chief executive officer for Birch. “Chris had extensive experience managing the legal and regulatory matters for other large telecom firms prior to his work at Birch, and we are lucky to have him here.”

Bunce is responsible for managing the legal operations, and legal and regulatory compliance functions of the company. Prior to joining Birch in 2000, he served as legal counsel for GST Telecom, CallAmerica, Whole Earth Networks, Hawaii Online and other telecommunications and Internet firms. Bunce received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, and is a member of three state bar associations.
